Comment of the Week Just Came In

The development at Renner and Plano roads could not get any closer to a neighborhood. And I believe that will be the biggest concentration of apartments in the city. I got a "suggested page" on Facebook which is Scott Dunn's political page. He states that Omar will do anything to win, and gives an example, ending with "that is why none of the current council support him." It has been bandied about that the current council will not work with Omar. It is my opinion that if Mr. Omar is elected Mayor, the current council should all resign. We don't need a childish and unprofessional council, who delight in acting like school yard bullies, in the city.

  1. You mean Scott Dunn can talk or did he have somone write his comments. I hope that OMAR wins and the entire council does resign. It would be the best thing to happen to Richardson in a very long time. Then maybe we would have a special election and put people in there that gives a DAMN!

  2. Wouldn't it be nice if we were able to work together as one big family instead of waging war against the special interests that have seized control of our public resources?

Everywhere you look, there is evidence of failed municipal management that could have been averted if resources were wisely applied to maintaining the city.

The benefits of our public assets have been pirated to line the pockets of those who have managed to insert themselves in the income stream.

After maximal amounts of municipal profits have been siphoned off by these parasites, the citizens are left with either zero to apply to the city debt, or an operational deficit abyss that is covered up by "sweeps" from other sources, like the overpriced water, sewer and trash.
