Why have a forum? All the questions will be geared to make Omar look bad.
ReplyDeleteHow true. The LWV appears to be stoked with Coalitionist Party loyalists, or at least people who have grown complacent and condoning of their members' behavior.
ReplyDeleteSubstantive questions like, "Do you approve of the Coalitionist's baseless personal attacks and negative campaign rhetoric?" will never hit the airwaves.
Exactly. I don't want to go to a forum anymore if my questions are screened out.

ReplyDeleteWhat is it you don't understand about control?
Why is it that unwritten questions from the floor are not allowed? See question above.
Protest Vote:
ReplyDeleteVote Amir Omar for Mayor and no one else.
Do not register a vote for any council member or write some one in.
If no one votes for an unopposed candidate, is it a legitimate election?? If no one votes for someone, how can they claim to have been elected??
Unfortunately, Luke, they will have at least two votes - theirs and their spouses. But it will be interesting to see what the vote totals per incumbent are. It is doubtful that records will be broken.
ReplyDeleteNo reason to vote for anyone else.
