The Smith Commission - Delay in Releasing Documents

Nothing like waiting until the day of the meeting for the information about the charter meeting tonight, a.k.a, the Smith Commission.

If you have been following the meetings, the moves have been to refer to state law for guidance, where it is more in favor for the city administration and at the same time being as harsh as possible from the citizen's point of view, limiting their input and effect on city policy.

The redlines for tonight's meeting seem to indicate more of the same for the Pete Smith Commission. Too bad we couldn't get a real Charter Commission from this city council.
