Reports have been coming in about the direction of the
election for the election of the mayor. While voting people have been taking a
closer look at the touch screen machines and a pattern has emerged. While the
areas of the touch screen where “Against” direct election of the mayor have
been relatively smudge free, the areas of the touch screen where the “For”
direction election have been heavily smudged.
It seems the contest for election versus selection of the
next mayor is not even a contest. For the first time in recent history the
citizens of Richardson will be voting for their mayor.
